Faith Vs. Fear!

One of the greatest enemies of our destiny is fear. Fear kills our destiny and limits God's ability to work through us. If we are ever going to fulfill our destiny in life, we are going to have to confront our fears.

In the book of Exodus, God's promised his people that He was going to lead them into their promised land. The promised land would be the fulfillment of all that God had planned for them since the beginning of time. They were in line to receive a total and divine blessing from God; however, many of them never received it because they were fearful.

How often have we had wonderful opportunities presented to us that would have changed our lives forever, but we were too fearful to take them!

I once knew a man who wanted to go into business for himself. He asked me how to get started, so I attempted to help him to develop a business plan. However, once the planning process had come to an end, the man changed his mind, because his fears became too great. The man still desires to own his own business, yet he is afraid to leave his job.

Many of us want God's best for us, but are not willing to confront our fears head-on. God has promised us that we were destined to be at the head and not the tail. (Deut. 28)

What fears are you in the process of overcoming?
